Jade Bird shares new single, "Nobody"
Jade Bird has returned with new track, "Nobody", as the fourth single taken from her forthcoming third studio album, Who Wants To Talk About Love?.
Jade Bird explains that the song is about “knowing your relationship is in tatters but being unable to admit defeat ('don't want to have to call my mother tell her we can't see past all our problems') because you feel that there's no one who is better than that person despite it being so bad.”
"Nobody" follows "Avalanche", "Dreams", and "Who Wants", which marked her first new music since the Burn The Hard Drive EP, a collaboration with Mura Masa, was released last year. Who Wants to Talk About Love sees Bird evolving after the release of her 2019 eponymous debut album, and 2021's Different Kinds of Light.
Who Wants To Talk About Love will be released on 18 July via Glassnote Records, and is available to pre-order now.
