Jack Garratt announces first studio album in five years, Pillars
Jack Garratt has returned with the announcement of his third studio album, Pillars, marking his first full-length project in five years.
Written during a transformative trip to Los Angeles, the new track emerged from a period of self-doubt and creative rebirth. “I was fully ready to quit music,” Garratt admits. “But Catherine Wheel became my true north - it reignited my love for creating and set the tone for the entire album.”
Following the release of his 2020 album Love, Death & Dancing – which arrived during the pandemic’s isolating grip – Jack Garrratt found himself yearning to reconnect with his fans and his craft. Pillars is his answer. “This is the most authentic record I’ve made yet,” Garratt says. “I’ve gone through years of confusion and self-discovery to get here.”
To celebrate his return, Garratt will perform an underplay headline show at London’s Village Underground on 1 May.
