J. Cole says next year’s Dreamville Fest will be its last
J. Cole has revealed that the 2025 edition of Dreamville Fest will be the fifth and final event.
"From the moment the idea of a festival took shape, we couldn’t help but wonder: were we in over our heads? Would people come to our home in Raleigh? What would that even look like?," wrote J Cole in a post shared on the Dreamville Fest account.
"We took a leap of faith—breaking ground, making announcements, and even navigating reschedules due to the elements and a world that seemed to be falling apart. Through every challenge and milestone, our community stood by us," he continued, adding that "each year has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of our journey."
There is yet to be a line-up announcement for the final edition of the festival, but with the 2024 edition seeing performances from the likes of, SZA, 50 Cent, Cole and Nicki Minaj, Lil Yachty, Schoolboy Q, Teezo Touchdown, and more; it is likely to be a worthy farewell.
Dreamville Fest takes place from 5-6 April in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Dorothea Dix Park.
