Ichiko Aoba presents new single, “SONAR”

Japanese singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Ichiko Aoba has shared "SONAR" as the latest taster of her forthcoming album, Luminescent Creatures.
Accompanying the song is a video directed by longtime collaborator Kodai Kobayashi. The video weaves together intricate CGI with elaborate stunts, led by contemporary artist and actor Norimizu Ameya. The narrative tackles themes of loss head-on for a subtle yet nuanced message about the nature of human connection.
Luminescent Creatures, out on 28 February 2025 via hermine.
