Ice Spice reveals that Taylor Swift is like a mentor: "She gives me so much advice"
In an interview with the Guardian Ice Spice discusses how she came to work with Taylor Swift and reveals that they are still in touch.
The duo had recently collaborated on a remix of Swift's track "Karma", which features on Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition), which also included a longer version of Lana Del Rey's verse on "Snow On The Beach".
Swift explained that the collaboration emerged after Ice “reached out through her team, just kind of saying, ‘Hey, Ice has been a big fan of Taylor’s since she was a little kid, would love to collaborate if that was ever something that came about.’” Swift also brought Ice Spice out on stage during her stop in New Jersey on The Eras Tour.

Speaking to The Guardian, revealed that during rehearsals for The Eras Tour, Swift had been listening to her EP, Like..?.
“I was like: ‘You fuck with my project? Like, what?'. She’s so sweet – I was so obsessed with how humble she was and willing to work. She gives me so much advice – we talk all the time and she’s so funny… But I can’t say what she be telling me.”
She also discussed her recent collaborations with Nicki Minaj, which includes the "Princess Diana" remix, and "Barbie Dreams" which is set to feature on the forthcoming Barbie movie.
“She be telling me to learn from her mistakes – just watching her in general, if you pay close enough attention, you gonna see what you should do,” she said. “I love to talk to her about things that I can’t talk about publicly – it just means so much to be able to have somebody like her.”
