North Carolina’s hemlocke springs releases her debut EP, going...going...GONE!. Alongside the release, she has shared an offbeat video for new single, "pos".
On the EP, hemlocke reflects; “The title going...going…GONE! refers to what is currently happening to the idea of where I thought would be. The path I thought I would be walking is going….going…gone. I am now at a point where I’ve realised I don’t really know anything: the past, the present, and particularly the future. going…going…GONE! serves as my commentary as I thought about those periods of time."
Eagle-eyed fans will spot the ghosts of music videos past in the release for "pos".
Between her forthcoming North American headline tour dates, hemlocke has been invited to play main support for MUNA at LA’s The Greek Theatre on 11 October. Following this, through November, she will make her debut appearances in the UK and Europe - bookended by an appearance at Pitchfork Music Festival Berlin alongside CHAI, and a newly-upgraded London headline show on 9 November at Camden’s Dingwalls/Powerhaus
