Hayley Williams joins Cyndi Lauper in Nashville to perform "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"
On Friday evening (1 November) Cyndi Lauper brought her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Earlier in the week, Cyndi Lauper was joined in New York with special guest Sam Smith, who performed a duet on "Time After Time" at Madison Square Garden. For Nashville, Paramore vocalist Hayley Williams, in her hometown joined Lauper to perform the 1983 hit, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun".
Back in 2019, Hayley Williams previously performed a cover of "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" with Kacey Musgraves at the same arena, on Musgraves' tour. More recently, Musgraves joined Sabrina Carpenter to perform Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" at Outside Lands festival.
Cyndi Lauper's tour continues in North America until 7 December. She will perform in the UK/EU in February 2025.
