Harry Styles reveals he once sang "River" at Joni Mitchell's Christmas party
Nardwuar has shared a new interview with Harry Styles, and he reveals he once attended a Christmas party at Joni Mitchell's house where he sang "River".
The new Nardwuar interview was filmed around Coachella 2022, and as well as receiving many gifts (including a Fleetwood Mac mirror, a One Direction toothbrush, vinyl pressings of Elvis Presley songs, an album by The Cribs, and more) Harry Styles discussed how he once sang "River" during a Christmas party at Joni Mitchell's house.
"I did go to her [Joni Mitchell's] house," Styles explained. "She had like a Christmas carol sing-a-long thing one time, and I was invited by the wonderful Brandi Carlile, and it was very fun."
When asked what did he sing at the event, Styles replied, "I wasn't gonna sing anything, and then Brandi kind of volunteered me to sing "River", which was one of the more nerve-racking moments of my life - singing "River" in front of Joni Mitchell - but it was pretty special."
Styles also spoke about his mum's friend Louise who grows "huge" parsnips, Orville Peck, wax figures and creepy One Direction dolls.
Harry Styles' latest album Harry's House arrived in May.
