Hands Habits returns with new cut "Private Life"
Hand Habits, aka Meg Duffy shares the Otium-directed video for "Private Life".
Following on from last month's lead single, "Something Wrong", Hands Habits shares the latest taste of their forthcoming album Sugar the Bruise.
Working with Luke Temple (Here We Go Magic, Art Feynman) and Philip Weinrobe (Adrienne Lenker, Cass McCombs), Hands Habits surrendered to the present moment, trusting that whatever sounds and words emerged were meant to emerge. With additional production, engineering and arranging from Jeremy Harris, Duffy created something which, in their words, “turned out nothing like I’d imagined it would."
Today's news comes accompanied by word that Hand Habits is hitting the road for a run of five UK dates this October in Bristol, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow, and a headline show at London's Omeara, as well as embarking on a west coast North America summer tour that includes shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and playing a show with Tegan & Sara in the spring.
"Private Life" is out now. Sugar the Bruise is out on 16 June via Fat Possum, and is available to pre-order now.
