H&M pulls Justin Bieber merchandise after artist calls it "trash"
H&M has pulled its latest Justin Bieber collection after he called out the merchandise on social media earlier this week.
Earlier this week Justin Bieber slammed H&M's new collection of him on social media, saying he "didn't approve" any of it. He also called the merch "trash", and encouraged fans not to buy it.
BBC reports that although H&M have since pulled the collection, a spokesperson for the company has defended the merch, saying, "As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed proper approval procedures."
The spokesperson added, "But out of respect for the collaboration and Justin Bieber we have removed the garments from our stores and online."
Bieber is currently taking a break from touring after he revealed his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis back in June.
