GOAT share new single "Do The Dance"
GOAT have shared new single "Do The Dance" as the second outing from their forthcoming album Oh Death that's out later this month.
Following August's announcement of Oh Death with the lead cut "Under No Nation", GOAT have unveiled a second single from the record titled "Do The Dance", which is accompanied by a Tom Brewins-directed video.
"After the annual feast with the Gods of Funk, GOAT went to an afterparty with some of the Great Gods of Groove," GOAT say of the new song. "Some time early in the morning, around 4am, one of the singers of GOAT found herself intertwined in a hot dance with the Supreme Mastergod of hipshaking. He tried to outshake her but was way over his head, there was no way he could ever outshake a GOAT banshee strungout on gods knows what! Suddenly his hip broke with a loud snap and GOAT was thrown out on the street. The singers went home and wrote this profound poetry about the experience."
Oh Death will follow GOAT's 2016 album Requiem, and last year's Headsoup compilation.
"Do The Dance" is out now. GOAT's Oh Death album will arrive on 21 October via Rocket Recordings, and is available to pre-order now.
