glaive links up with kurtain on new single, "Live & Direct"
glaive has unveiled the brand new single, "Live & Direct" featuring fellow genre-blending artist kurtain.
His latest single marks the beginnings of a new chapter in glaive's artistry, serving as the lead-up to his forthcoming second album, May It Never Falter, set for release next week.
Discussing the release, glaive says: “‘Live & Direct’ was made with Kurtains who I’ve known since I was 14. After making much of the album in Iceland, I went to Wales where he lives and we made this song together. It is truly a banger.”
"Live & Direct" follows a slew of projects from glaive in 2024, including the emotionally charged singles "just not sure" and "tijuana freestyle’" as well as his a bit of a mad one EP in February.
His forthcoming album is due to land off the back of his 2023 debut i care so much i don’t care at all – an album that showcased his ability to merge clever wordplay, and a heartfelt path through relationships, identity formation, and the internet.
May It Never Falter, is set for release on 11 October.
