FEET share new single, "Sit Down" and announce UK in-store dates
FEET have released their brand new single, "Sit Down", as the third track to be lifted from their forthcoming album, Make It Up.
"Sit Down" – the follow-up to the duo of singles already released by the band – "The Real Thing" and "Why Would I Lie" – is anything but an anthem for the lazy.
Singer and frontman George Haverson commented on the track: "The triumphant parking of your derrière is an active form of protest against our capitalist overlords. ‘Sit down’ is a celebration of that protest and our ongoing fight with gravity. We sit next to people everyday of our lives and that shared collective pause is a pretty central part of the human experience. Recognise the power of this ’non action’ and pull up a chair.”
Following a sold out headline show at Moth Club last week, the band have just announced a run of in-store shows in support of the new album’s release in June, including dates in Kingston, London, Southampton, Bristol, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Leeds.
Make It Up is the follow-up to FEET’s debut album, What’s Inside Is More Than Just Ham, which was released in 2019.
Make It Up is set for release on 14 June via Submarine Cat Records, and is available to pre-order now. For more information on their live dates, visit feetband.co.uk.
