fanclubwallet releases new EP, Our Bodies Paint Traffic Lines
fanclubwallet — the project of Canadian singer-songwriter Hannah Judge — has released her new EP, Our Bodies Paint Traffic Lines.
fanclubwallet presents the new single, “Picture Of Her", alongside the release of the full EP. Judge is joined on Our Bodies Paint Traffic Lines by her live band: Nat Reid (bass), Eric Graham (guitar) and Michael Watson, who not only played drums, but produced and mixed the record. “It’s cool to let your best friends take the lead,” says Judge, who's known half the band since way back in third grade, and once upon a time acted as their tour photographer. “They feel like my arms and my legs. Extensions of myself!”
“‘Picture Of Her’ started with the guitar riff,” she continues. “We were all together trying to write some songs and Eric and Michael just busted out with that awesome riff. I felt really inspired by Metric for this one. Lyrically, the song is about a creepy photographer who will do anything to get a photo of a lead singer.”
Accompanying the release of Our Bodies Paint Traffic Lines are a zine made by Hannah and custom charts by Nat that will be playable in Rock Band and Clone Hero for each song on the EP.
