Ethel Cain details vinyl release of debut album, Preacher's Daughter
Ethel Cain has announced the long-awaited release of her seminal 2022 debut album, Preacher’s Daughter, on vinyl for the first time.
The vinyl release of Preacher's Daughter is set to follow Ethel Cain's forthcoming project, Perverts, which is recently led by the darkly ambient new single "Punish".
Written, produced, and mixed by Cain, Perverts is an exploration of sonic negative space, and unflinchingly examines transcendence through both physical and spiritual sensation, simulacrum, and vice. The project weaves through the hyperreal in an attempt to transcribe the emotional consequence of proximity to God and its impermanence.
