Erykah Badu and The Alchemist join forces on "Next to You"
Erykah Badu has joined forces with producer, DJ, and rapper The Alchemist for the new collaborative single, "Next to You".
Ahead of the duo embarking on a Japan tour, they have revealed the new track, "Next To You". Taking to his socials, The Alchemist also shared that the release will be featured on the forthcoming album, ABI & ALAN.
Earlier this year, Badu revealed that she is working on the follow-up to the 2015 full-length album, New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh), and the mixtape, But You Caint Use My Phone. It will be solely produced by The Alchemist who has worked with the likes of Mobb Deep, Eminem, Ghostface Killah, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Schoolboy Q, and Earl Sweatshirt.
