Elmiene announces his new mixtape, Heat The Streets
British-Sudanese soul artist Elmiene has announced his new mixtape, Heat The Streets, alongside the release of lead single, "Useless (Without You)".
Comprised of all new material, plus a few skits and interludes, the 12-track mixtape leans into Elmiene’s lifelong love of R&B, an influence that has remained a fixture of his own work, and also includes a cover of Carole King’s "You’ve Got A Friend".
After breaking through in 2023 with his El-Mean and Marking My Time EPs, the BRIT-nominated musician had a prolific 2024 with two more original EPs, Anyway I Can and For The Deported, as well as two live releases Live at RAK Studios and Live from 525 – the latter comprising covers of tracks by Frank Ocean, Prince and Cleo Sol. This year his This Is The Remix EP saw his own tracks reimagined by Timbaland, Blxst and IAMNOBODI.
