Du Blonde has returned with brand new single, "Blame", as her second release of the year.
"Blame" tells the story of a long-time-coming explosion of rage and defiance in the face of gaslighting within an interpersonal relationship. Du Blonde is anxiety ridden, battling for breath and solid ground in a psychologically destabilising situation.
"Blame" follows "Pelican Canyon", which was a collaboration with Samuel T. Herring of Future Islands; ecorded in one take in a haunted Los Angeles studio in 2013, and serves as an extension of her last album, Homecoming, which was released in 2021.
"Blame" is out now.
