DOVES unveil "Renegade" as first new music in four years and announce forthcoming album, Constellations For The Lonely
DOVES – AKA Jimi Goodwin, Andy Williams and Jez Williams – have returned to announce their sixth studio album, Constellations For The Lonely.
The forthcoming release from DOVES follow their 2020 album, The Universal Want, which marked their first full-length in over a decade, as well as a hiatus which was spurred on by frontman Jimi Goodwin struggling with his mental health.
“Looking at everyone’s lives over recent years, and considering the news at the moment, ‘Renegade’ feels a lot more loaded in retrospect. We wanted to go for a dystopian feel, thinking about Manchester itself over the next century or so. A totally imaginary thing...‘BladeRunner’ set in our home city," says drummer, vocalist and co-songwriter, Andy Williams of the new single.
