Doja Cat unveils "Demons" alongside a video starring Christina Ricci
The brand new single is the latest to be taken from her fourth studio album, Scarlet.
Doja Cat's fourth studio album is the long-awaited follow-up to her 2021 album, Planet Her. Following the release of "Attention", and "Paint The Town Red", she has now shared the brand new single, "Demons".
The releases is accompanied by a music video which Doja Cat directed alongside Christian Breslauer, and it features the singer starring in a horror-fantasy world alongside Christina Ricci.
Earlier this week, eagle-eyed music fans quickly noticed after Doja Cat shared her album artwork, that it looked almost identical to the release of Chaver's forthcoming album, Of Gloom. Revealed on 29 July, and also due for release on September 22, is almost exactly the same, except for the shape of a blood droplet and the positioning of the spider’s legs.
Yesterday, after deleting the Instagram post with the original artwork on it, Doja Cat has shared an updated album cover –– created by the same artist –– which is notably different, with two pearlescent spiders, instead of the solo red arachnid that originally graced the cover.
"Demons" is out now. Doja Cat's fourth studio album, Scarlet, arrives on 22 September.
