Divorce release new single, "Eat My Words"
Nottingham indie heavyweights Divorce have released the brand new single, "Eat My Words", marking the final reveal from the band’s forthcoming Heady Metal EP.
Speaking ahead of "Eat My Words", co-vocalist/guitarist Felix Mackenzie-Barrow explained: “The song scrutinises my emotional responses to situations in which I’ve been uncomfortable; and where I’ve come away from those situations with frustrations about the things left unsaid, sometimes for better, sometimes not.”
The track was produced by Matt Peel (Dream Wife, Eagulls, Pulled Apart By Horses), and mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Catherine Marks (Foals, The Killers, Wolf Alice).
"Eat My Words" follows on from "Birds" and "Scratch Your Metal", which heralded the announcement of Heady Metal.
Divorce have just been announced as support for The Vaccines on their spring 2024 tour. This is preceded by a run of support dates alongside Willie J Healey, and their own UK tour lined up later this autumn.
"Eat My Words" is out now. Divorce's forthcoming EP, Heady Metal, is set for release on 17 November.
