
Dawn Richard x Spencer Zahn, Jamie Cullum and Robert Glasper among first names for EFG London Jazz Festival 2024
Now entering its 32nd year, the global celebration of music, EFG London Jazz Festival has announced its first names for the 2024 edition which is set to take place from 15-24 November.
EFG London Jazz Festival has announced its first wave of names for the 2024 edition of the event, which includes Dawn Richard x Spencer Zahn, Jamie Cullem and Robert Glasper and more.
On Saturday 16 November, legendary guitarist Pat Metheny returns to the Barbican Hall to perform at the festival for the first time since his 2017 appearance, in support of his forthcoming album, MoonDial. On Thursday, 21 November, the LSO is joined by the Mercury Prize-nominated ensemble seed., led by saxophonist Cassie Kinoshi, for an evening of new music and collaboration. Under the collective group name of Crosscurrents Trio, Dave Holland, Zakir Hussain and Chris Potter join together to perform on Friday, 22 November.

KOKO in Camden, will see Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Meshell Ndegeocello bringing her deeply jazz influenced sound to the venue on Friday, 15 November, performing the critically acclaimed 2023 album The Omnichord Real Book. Robert Glasper, the leader of a new sonic paradigm with a career that bridges musical and artistic genres, will perform on Monday, 18 November, whilst Afro-Cuban rockstar Cimafunk will subvert classical Cuban rhythms with innovative mixes of funk, afrobeat and hip hop on Friday, 22 November.
Dawn Richard and Spencer Zahn will take to the stage at Union Chapel on Saturday, 16 November. They transcend musical boundaries with their unique sound of immersive electronic, avant-garde jazz and neo classical. Also at the Union Chapel, transdisciplinary scholar, vocalist, word-craftswoman and multi instrumentalist Ganavya will perform on Saturday, 23 November. Known for her live work with SAULT, Ganavya has been turning heads with a run of sold out shows and a new album on Shabaka Hutchings’ Native Rebel label.
