Daniel Avery joins forces with Alison Mosshart on new single, "Greasy Off The Racing Line"
Revered producer and composer Daniel Avery has shared "Greasy off the Racing Line" as the latest single from his forthcoming sixth studio album, Tremor.
Speaking of the track which sees him join forces with Alison Mosshart of The Kills, Daniel Avery says: “In many ways ‘Greasy off the Racing Line’ is the oil-soaked central cog of the album. A late-night drive through the darkened roads of the record. I’ve dreamt of working with Alison Mosshart for years – the first Kills music hit at the perfect time in my life, just as I was starting to make my own way out into the nighttime, Alison’s voice literally soundtracking some of my most formative footsteps into the most exciting of worlds. I love everything she has done, she’s as real as they come and it’s an honour to have her be a part of this Tremor collective.”
Avery’s work continues to expand across disciplines: from his acclaimed reconstructions of The Cure’s DRONE:NODRONE, to his role in the experimental supergroup Demise of Love alongside Working Men’s Club and Ghost Culture. It follows his previous studio album Ultra Truth.
Tremor will be released on 31 October via Domino, and is available to pre-order now.
