During a fan Q&A at a soundcheck at a show on her UK tour, Chappell Roan revealed that Charli XCX has offered support any time she needs it.
Chappell Roan is currently in the midst of a UK tour, playing shows in Manchester, Glasgow, and Dublin, ahead of three nights at London's Brixton Academy, which kick off this evening. During a soundcheck Q&A, she shared an insight into her relationship with Charli XCX.
After sharing that her favourite BRAT song is "Sympathy is a knife", she shared that Charli XCX offered her support after she came out about her struggles dealing with newfound fame. "I love Charli so much. She was the first girl to reach out and check on me. She was like: 'this is about to get really hard. if you need a friend – I'm here for you'. It's so sick to see her ruling the fucking wold and doing it her way."

She then went on to discuss why she finds Charli inspirational as an artist: "I think so many people have tried to put her into a pop box, like she's a popstar – and she is – but she's also a club girl and is fulling living. it's working because it's her and it's so inspiring to me."
