BTS to complete mandatory military service and reunite as a group in 2025
BTS will move forward with completing their mandatory military service in South Korea, and will reunite as a group in 2025.
It's been announced that BTS will go ahead with their military service obligations, beginning with the group's oldest member Jin, who turns 30 in December. The announcement reveals that Jin will begin the process to complete his military service at the end of October once the "schedule for his solo release is concluded".
BIGHIT MUSIC also revealed that "Other members of the group plan to carry out their military service based on their own individual plans," and will reunite "as a group again around 2025 following their service commitment."
Billboard reports that over the weekend Jin revealed he has a collaborative single on the way at the group's concert in Busan, "I got the opportunity to work with someone I like," Jin said. "So a single will come out soon."
Back in July BTS' J-Hope released his debut solo album Jack in the Box.
