Brigid Mae Power shares "Counting Down" and announces UK tour
Brigid Mae Power reveals the second song from her forthcoming album.
Taken from her fourth studio album, Dream From The Deep Well, which follows on from the 2020 release Head Above The Water.
Of the new song, Power says: “"Counting Down" is a simple song about the ups and downs of music and touring. It reflects on feeling homesick and the frustration from meeting great people on the road and then leaving them, almost immediately, as the next town beckons. It’s also about realising that performing is a great privilege, it’s just a hard and strange way of life, but ultimately the only one I can really do.”
Brigid Mae Power will embark on a six-date UK tour which sees her perform at London's Moth Club on 25 September.
Dream From The Deep Well is due for release on 30 June via Fire Records and is available to pre-order now. Tickets for her headline tour are also on sale at brigidmaepower.com
