
boygenius announce debut album with three new songs "$20", "Emily I'm Sorry" and "True Blue"
boygenius, aka Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, are back with news of their debut album the record, and have treated fans to three tracks from the record - "$20", "Emily I'm Sorry" and "True Blue".
boygenius have had their fans in a metaphorical chokehold since releasing their self-titled debut EP in 2018, and since then they appeared on Hayley Williams' "Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris" song in 2020, released some demos on Bandcamp for charity, and the individual members have also made appearances on each other's albums. Today is a big day, as boygenius are finally back. Not only have they announced their debut album the record, they've also released three tracks from it - "$20", "Emily I'm Sorry" and "True Blue".
the record is produced and written by boygenius, and was recorded at Rick Rubin's Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, California.
