Last Friday (28 October) Bob Dylan honoured Jerry Lee Lewis by closing his Nottingham show with a cover of "I Can’t Seem To Say Goodbye".
Following news of Jerry Lee Lewis' passing last Friday, Bob Dylan played Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena, and closed his set with a tribute to the late musician. Before covering his "I Can't Seem To Say Goodbye" song, Dylan told the crowd, "I don’t know how many of you know, but Jerry Lee’s gone. We’re gonna play this song, one of his. Jerry Lee will live forever, we all know that."
Jerry Lee Lewis died last Friday aged 87 at his DeSoto County home.
Bob Dylan's tour continues tonight (31 October) at Glasgow's SEC Armadillo.
