Black Country, New Road unveil live film featuring new music
Black Country, New Road have shared Live at Bush Hall, a live film made up of entirely new material.
After teasing something arriving today on their socials last week, Black Country, New Road have shared Live at Bush Hall, a live film that features Greg Barnes-directed footage of all-new material from their three sold out shows at Bush Hall in December 2022.
The band's pianist May Kershaw says, "We didn't want to do a studio album. We wrote the new tracks specifically to perform live, so we thought it might be a nice idea to put out a performance."
Saxophonist and vocalist Lewis Evans adds, "It's about capturing the moment. A little time capsule of these eight months that we've had playing these songs on the road."
Drummer and vocalist Charlie Wayne says, "We want the focal point to be this film. We've put a lot of effort into making it feel like you're watching a live gig. It's not an album in our eyes, it's a live performance."
Black Country, New Road's Live at Bush Hall live film is out now. They'll play London's Wide Awake Festival on 27 May.
