In partnership with The Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Olympia Film Society, Bikini Kill have announced a benefit show for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund is a non-profit organization addressing the medical and humanitarian crisis facing children in the Middle East. The event is set to take place on 27 January at the Capitol Theater in Olympia, Washington. Bikini Kill and The Ghost Ease will perform alongside an appearance from guest speaker Selma Al-Aswad – a longtime Seattle-based Palestinian-American activist and researcher. She organises with the Palestinian Feminist Collective.

Kathleen Hanna is set to release her memoir Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk, next year ahead of a Bikini Kill tour of Europe and the United Kingdom in June. The book is set to chronicle her childhood, "from her tumultuous childhood home to her formative college years in Olympia, Washington, and on to her first years on tour, fighting hard for gigs and for her band", to the present day where she is learning to live with Lyme disease.
