Beyoncé gives Madonna a shout out at the Renaissance Tour
Beyoncé's most recent dates on the Renaissance tour took place at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, over the weekend.
Whilst Greta Gerwig, America Ferrera, Kehlani, and Laverne Cox were in attendance, Beyoncé took a moment address the fact that Madonna was present in the crowd in New Jersey.
Beyoncé recruited Madonna for “Break My Soul (The Queens Remix)". The song features an interpolation of Madonna’s 1990 classic “Vogue,” but instead of Hollywood stars from the Golden Age, she lists the influential Black women who have shaped popular culture, including Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Lizzo, Rihanna, Nina Simone, Santigold, Solange, Kelly Rowland, Grace Jones, Aretha Franklin, Missy Elliott, Tierra Whack, Aaliyah, Chloe x Halle.
“Big shoutout to the queen," she said during the track. "Queen Mother, Madonna, we love you.”
Elsewhere on the Renaissance tour, Beyoncé was blamed for inflation rise in Sweden, has helped some concertgoers with a gender reveal, and has been joined on stage almost every night by her daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé's Renaissance tour began in May, earlier this year, and is set to continue through to October, as she embarks on a world tour in support of her seventh studio album which was released last year. Following its release, Beyoncé broke Grammy Award history.
The 65th annual Grammy Awards saw Beyoncé win four awards in total, including Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best R&B Song and Best Dance/Electronic Album. The fourth win of the night, which saw her Renaissance album win Best Dance/Electronic Album, made Beyoncé overtake Hungarian-British conductor George Solti with the most Grammy wins of all time.
Solti previously held the record for more than two decades with 31 Grammy Awards, but Beyoncé now has 32 Grammy wins.
Madonna recently shared a statement after being hospitalised with a serious bacterial infection.
