Beach Fossils announce first studio album in six years with lead single "Don’t Fade Away"
Beach Fossils have announced Bunny, their first new studio album in six years, and have shared the lead outing "Don't Fade Away".
"Don't Fade Away" is Beach Fossils' first outing since 2021's The Other Side of Life: Piano Ballads project landed in November 2021, and is accompanied by a Kevin Clark-directed video.
Lead vocalist Dustin Payseur says of the single, ""Don’t Fade Away" is about missing old friends, being on tour, self-medicating, longing, anxiety, love, being an idiot, having fun, embracing your mistakes and keeping your spark."
The new single will appear on Beach Fossils' upcoming album Bunny, which will be their first new studio album since 2017's Somersault. The new album was produced and recorded by Payseur, with Lars Stalfors (St. Vincent, Soccer Mommy, Lil Peep) mixing.
