beabadoobee today shares new single "the way things go"

The single comes accompanied by an official video, directed by Jacob Erland and starring herself and guitarist Jacob Bugden alongside a number of ballet dancers in an ornately decorated room. Having previously teased the track in an early form online, a huge wave of fan support has seen "the way things go" take on a life of its own online and across TikTok.

Earlier this year, beabadoobee released the track "Glue Song", and later shared a version which featured Clairo on vocals – marking the first time they had reunited after touring the US together in 2019.

beabadoobee’s highly anticipated debut album Fake It Flowers was released in 2020 to widespread critical acclaim. The 2022 follow up Beatopia debuted in the top five of the UK charts, and came accompanied by her biggest sold out UK tour to date.
