Artificial Intelligence is set to bring Elvis back to the stage
Immersive experience specialists Layered Reality are working on bringing Elvis back to the stage in a show crafted with holograms and artificial intelligence.
Elvis Evolution is a forthcoming immersive concert experience which "will recreate the seismic impact of seeing Elvis live for a whole new generation of fans, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy." Through AI and groundbreaking technology, fans will be able to witness "iconic Elvis performances, and celebrate defining moments in Elvis Presley’s extraordinary life and career."
The show promises "a life sized digital Elvis [who] will share his most iconic songs and moves for the very first time on a UK stage, all thanks to Layered Reality’s unique blend of technology, augmented reality, theatre, projection and multi-sensory effects," and is said to be followed by an after party at its Elvis-themed restaurant and bar with live music, DJs and performances.
Layered Reality’s shows blend technology, augmented reality, theatre, projection and multi-sensory effects. Their credits include Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience and The Gunpowder Plot.
Elvis Evolution will also travel to Las Vegas, Berlin and Tokyo. The company struck a deal with Elvis Presley estate owner Authentic Brands Group, which owns Elvis Presley Enterprises, to make the show possible.
Elvis Evolution is set to launch in November 2024. For more information, visit elvis.layeredreality.com.
