Brighton’s Phoria introduce hypnotic single “Everything Beta”
Brighton-based quintet Phoria have followed up the deeply engaging “Evolve” with a fresh take on their hypnotic blend of electronic and acoustic elements. New single “Everything Beta” continues to build momentum for the group’s debut LP Volition, slated for release on 3 June in 12” vinyl and digital download formats via X Novo Records.
The song shimmers along at a brisker pace than Phoria’s previous offerings and expands upon the heady ambience the band evokes so skillfully. Trewin Howard’s vocals are as spectral and fever dream-frayed as ever. A pulsing beat sends the track hurtling forward as flickers of piano are tangled up with surging synth.
Another luminous offering in a string of compelling singles, “Everything Beta” positions Phoria as a sensory experience that steadily etches itself into memory.
