Patience is definitely a virtue when Rytmeklubben are involved
Norwegian "club boyband" Rytmeklubben are today unveiling "Impatience", an oddball floorfiller featuring vocals from EVA.
The band - a quartet of producers/DJs - formed in Trondheim while running a club night that hosted the likes of Cashmere Cat and Slick Shoota. After gaining attention from self-released jams "Seen" and "Girlfriend" they've inked a major deal with Sony/RCA - and stardom beckons.
Rythmeklubben have poured everything into "Impatience" - from '00s bubbletronica to slinky '90s R&B to futuristic PC Music bleeps and bloops. Gloopy basslines and frantic percussion pirouette around synthy strands that dart in and out of focus - the sole constant is EVA's golden voice, which guides the hyperactive mayhem towards a heady climax. This Norwegian crew have made a bold statement of intent with "Impatience".
"Don't go back to less, just because you're too impatient to wait for the best..." say Rytmeklubben of the track.
