Listen: Woman's Hour – Our Love Love Has No Rhythm (Richard Formby Remix)
The ambient melancholia of exciting newcomers, Woman’s Hour is given a bouncing reworking from Richard Formby.
The Leeds-based producer brings the experience from work with the likes of Darkstar, Ghostpoet and Wild Beasts to conjure up a stand-alone track out of the Kendal/Manchester quartet’s ‘Our Love Has No Rhythm’.
Despite the chunky increase in manufactured beats and hypnotic synth lines, emotion from the original remains, thanks to the gentle implementation of Burgess’ serene vocal and intuitive moments of dissonance. Bursting with rhythm, stream this kaleidoscopic remix below.
