“I want your problems / I want everything that’s bad about you” calls the somewhat mysterious Los Angeles-based artist in the smooth as silk falsetto that got us all hot under the collar back in June. Its repetitive, circling production provides the perfect stage for a voice that has the capacity to soothe and chill in equal measure.
The latest from his forthcoming Zebra EP, “Forfeit” is as lovelorn and passionate a track as we’ve heard this year and places Gallant nicely alongside the likes of How To Dress Well with the unashamed desires of The Weeknd.
