George Van Den Broek continues to impress with yet another cracking single.
As always, it’s Van Den Broek’s distinctive voice that carries the song, deeply intense as he muses “I can’t help but wonder/ What’s the point, there’s no god in my sky”. It seems impossible that the emotion conveyed in the lyrics could come from a teenager, but Yellow Days has been confounding expectations since day one.
"Holding On" is an exciting glimpse of Yellow Days' upcoming project Is Everything OK in Your World? and a fine example of the unique talent he possesses.
Is Everything OK in Your World? is out 27 October via Good Years.
