Will Joseph Cook impresses again with sun-kissed indie-pop anthem “Beach”
Will Joseph Cook has quietly been making a name for himself with brilliantly infectious indie pop since early 2015. The attention-grabbing “Streets Of Paris” was followed-up by “Message”, which served as a real statement of songwriting intent with its emphatic, glistening chorus.
The teenage talent has since signed to the legendary Atlantic Records and is fresh off the back of a BBC Introducing Glastonbury set. Important pieces are falling rightfully into place.
“Beach” is the first taste of the Kent artist’s second EP Proof Enough which is set for release on 11 August and continues to hint at major future success. His effortless vocal work weaves its way towards another beautifully catching, sun-kissed chorus: ”Ay, I wanna make you mine” he cries with summery euphoria.
