Watch: The Last Skeptik - "Cheerio"
Frothy nu-garage producer and dance artist The Last Skeptik has revealed his freaky flick for "Cheerio" via SBTV.
It stars Doc Brown, and while not being out-'n'-out horror, it lingers in your mind. There's a sense of uneasiness through the entire clip as you see Brown fall from grace thanks to a series of drug and drink fuelled escapades. The end is gruesome.
The track itself is an exotic hip-hop belter, like if Flying Lotus was into medieval Japanese music instead of jazz. There's tonnes of woodwind, and while not being strictly dance-y, there's a definite groove.
The Last Skeptik is also hosting a free EP launch party this evening (27 November) at Birthdays. You can find more info here.
