Watch: Lorentz - "Där dit vinden kommer" [Premiere]
Responsible for the defining Swedish record of 2014 with Kärlekslåtar, a spellbinding 50 minutes of emotionally weighted hip hop, Lorentz caps off an astonishingly successful year with the official video for album centrepiece "Där dit vinden kommer".
Although relatively unknown in the UK, Lorentz is on his way to household name status in his native Sweden. Formerly of rap duo Lorentz & Sakarias, this year saw the young Stockholm resident go solo - releasing a flawless debut album that defies catagorisation and, although delivered entirely in Swedish, is entirely universal in its accesbility.
Lorentz reflects on the past twelve months: "The release of the album was a trip. The sold out tour... people cryin at the shows is too real. It's been crazy seeing this thing blow up the way it did".
Indeed. With nationwide critical acclaim for Kärlekslåtar, continuous sell out shows and a nomination for Best Artist at the P3 Guld Awards (Sweden's answer to the Brits), it's only a matter of time before Lorentz makes waves in the UK and beyond.
"Där dit vinden kommer", featuring guest turns from JJ and Duvchi, premieres below. In Lorentz's words: "The video is supposed to be very in your face kinda like. Honest. One take. No slow motion. Just upfront. Nature, city and an apartment on water. It portraits of every part of the song."
