Tom Misch wades into warm grooves on new single "In The Midst Of It All" [Premiere]
Tom Misch is debuting the luscious tones "In The Midst Of It All (ft. Sam Wills)" tonight on Best Fit.
Misch will release a new cut every Thursday until the tape is released later next month, with "In The Midst Of It All" kicking off the series.
Misch has crafted something supremely chilled, but something that's equally capable of rousing bodies to the dancefloor - it's a classic piece of pop music that culminates in a glorious jazz-flecked jam. Misch blends a variety of styles and methods seamlessly, and in the midst of it all (ba-dum tish), Sam Wills' velvet vocal line sits neatly.
Beat Tape 2 is out 28 August via Beyond The Groove, and features collabs with Loyle Carner, Jordan Rakei, and Carmody; it follows the first tape, which was released last year.
