The Vryll Society embrace pop on melodic offering “A Perfect Rhythm”
Following a busy summer, which featured appearances at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and End Of The Road festival, Liverpool's The Vryll Society have delved into their psych-pop influences to produce a slice of melodic, guitar-fuelled indie.
With nods to the likes of The Verve and Luminous era The Horrors, “A Perfect Rhythm” takes its melodic cues from the nineties, combining an earworm chorus with a psychedelic undertone.
It’s a synthesiser free zone; guitars are instead given the task of impersonating their effects, providing the track with an analogue grounding.
With it being The Vryll Society's most pop-infused track to date, it serves as an interesting transition from their 2015 EP Pangea.
