SWEAT shoot off gluey disco-pop jam "Heaven"
South London collective SWEAT have unveiled "Heaven", a new track about loss and letting go.
Replete with sticky beats and oozing bass, the track's a surreal amalgamation of sensuality and anxiety - it's full of moments to make you shimmy and shake, and full of moments to make you fall deep into the abyss of your own mind.
"'Heaven' is about suddenly being left alone in the darkness of your own mind, where memory and fantasy can quickly reform into nightmare and your own dreams no longer offer any sanctuary," says lead singer Dante.
The song's arrived just ahead of their SXSW trek and a headline performance at London's Corsica Studios on 30 March.
"Starting the year by going to America for SXSW will be literally a dream come true and we are beyond excited," SWEAT told us late last year ahead of their performance at our new music festival. "To experience the land where so much of the music that informs our lives came from - I have heard it’s a mental place."
