
SOFI TUKKER bring the "Energia" on their blazing new single
Frenetic pop pals SOFI TUKKER have dropped fiery new jam "Energia" into these miserable November nights.
The song nods to their South American side with Brazilian Portuguese lyrics and charango chirrups aplenty - it's a supremely infectious track full of sweltering hooks and, fittingly, lots of energy.
"Give me energy!" say Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern. "With 'Energia', we have gone back to our roots as lovers of the Brazilian language. This song, like 'Drinkee' and 'Matadora', is a collaboration with the Brazilian poet, Chacal. We hope you love it as much as we loved making it!"
"Energia" comes hot on the heels of Apple ad-soundtracking belter "Best Friend" and their high-octane summer cussfest.
