French native Saint DX puts out groove-laden charm in “Prime of Your Life”
Hooking you in instantly with an insanely addictive bassline and futuristic electronics, Saint DX's “Prime of Your Life” details the fragility and beauty of romance.
Singing in both his native French as well as English, the vocals of Saint DX (AKA Aurélien Hamm) delicately glide over the funk-infused beats, creating a sensational groovy tune. Keeping with the tone is the slick video, directed by David Luraschi, starring uplifting synchronised dancers and Hamm in some Kylo Ren high-waisters.
Reflecting an obsession with love, “Prime of Your Life” is a compelling embodiment of old and new. Appearing nostalgic - there's hints of Prince throughout - yet producing swish modern elements, the track is a rich, slow-burning track best served with extra charm.
