Hear Sad Culture's fun-packed "Raspberry Ooze", the latest track in Art Is Hard's Pin Pals
The second instalment in Art Is Hard's Pin Pal Singles Club is from London quintet Sad Culture, and you can hear it now on Best Fit.
The track's titled "Raspberry Ooze", and is about "uncomfortable evenings in pubs with music that’s too loud, parties where every surface is sticky, no one has a spare lighter, your girlfriend’s vomiting raspberry coloured sick... but generally you feel okay."
"Raspberry Ooze" launches out of the gates, beckoning the summer sun forth with wobbly Mac DeMarco-isms and warped axe riffs. This is a luscious indie-pop belter packed with fun and carefree bliss.
The song opens with a sample of Cool Runnings, and the accompanying pin features a "quizzical John Candy".
Listen to "Raspberry Ooze" below. Order the pin separately, or better yet, subscribe to Pin Pals.
