London quintet Pumarosa scurry around sonic undergrowth in debut track "Priestess".
Mercury Prize-nominated wizard Dan Carey (Bat For Lashes, TOY) has produced the track, which clocks in at an impressive 7:28. Throughout its duration, the outfit veer through psychedelic wastes with gusts of synth and bass, as well as the filthy atmospheres of Warpaint. There's lots of stripped-back timbres, and it feels exposed at times, allowing you to absorb each layer with ease, and its a refreshing twist on the usual clogged-up style of modern psych rock.
The track is out now via Chess Club. Pumarosa ship out on tour with Gengahr this autumn.
