Listen: White Reaper - "Make Me Wanna Die"
There's no wasting time when it comes to White Reaper. "Make Me Wanna Die" is another contagious catalyst of battering beats and fuzzy guitars that is as infectious as a wildfire.
The US twenty-somethings give us an incredible excuse to lose our heads in their bruising, infectious track that takes two seconds to memorise. The sheer contagiousness of the shouty vocals and the fuzz-filled melody is vicious enough to start a moshpit in a supermarket.
Whilst White Reaper weave in and out of distorted vocals and fuzzy melodies similar to that of Ty Segall, there's a bewildering beauty that seems to shake any anxiety out of your bones, but soon convinces you to submerge into a chaotic crash of persistent drums and shouty abuse that seems just right to shake off the winter blues.
White Reaper's debut album drops this July via Polyvinyl Records.
